Taste of Xiangxi is a small family business located in Kirkgate Market, offering fast, authentic Chinese street food, including rice meals, rice noodles, and braised delicacies, with the mission of bringing the vibrant culture of Xiangxi street food from the mountainous region of China to Leeds.
Unlike typical Chinese takeaways, we use family recipes passed down through generations and take pride in using fresh and natural ingredients in our dishes.
Rice noodles
Saucy noodles contain pork fat and are served with shredded cucumber, wood ear mushrooms, garlic, coriander, peanuts, and egg.
RICE BOX
All dishes are served with a side salad and green vegetables.
BRAISED DELIGHTS
These are non-spicy but can be seasoned with fresh garlic, coriander, and homemade chilli sauce.
